Hiện tại để gõ tiếng Việt trên Ubuntu hoặc một số Distros Linux khác chúng ta thường sử dụng nhất là ibus-bogo và ibus-unikey. Tuy nhiên từ ngày ibus-bogo ra thì mình luôn dùng nó và không muốn dùng ibus-unikey tẹo nào do nó bị lỗi gạch chân bên dưới chữ viết.
Cài đặt bằng file deb
Download file
ibus-bogo_0.4.0_all.deb (hoặc
tại đây). Bạn cũng có thể dùng bản 0.3
ibus-bogo_0.3.0-1_all.deb (hoặc
tại đây). Mở terminal lên di chuyển (lệnh cd) đển thư mục chứa file vừa tải về chạy lệnh cài đặt là được.
sudo dpkg -i ibus-bogo_0.4.0_all.deb
Nếu gặp lỗi như thế này:

Khắc phục lỗi bằng cách chạy lại 3 lệnh sau:
sudo apt-get -f install
sudo dpkg -i ibus-bogo_0.3.0-1_all.deb
ibus restart
Sau khi cài đặt xong các bạn mở Text Entry trong Dash (hoặc nhấn vào icon chữ
En trên góc phải -> chọn Text Entry).
Sau đó làm theo các bước sau:
Như vậy là xong, giờ thì menu đã có bogo để gõ Tiếng Việt ^^.
